Locals celebrate TDP MLC Deepak Reddy arrest

Following the arrest of TDP MLC Deepak Reddy in the land scam case, Bojagutta residents began celebrating the news.

Deepak Reddy was arrested over the charges of producing fake documents in a land scam worth Rs 300 crores with the help of advocate Sailendra Saxena. The Revenue department declared the lands occupied by Deepak Reddy as government land resulting in the police arresting the accused with evidence.

While he has been granted into judicial remand for 14 days and shifted to Chanchalguda jail, the locals in Bojagutta are celebrating his arrest by firing the crackers and distributing sweets.

They are now demanding the state government to give their lands back and construct double bedroom houses for them
